An overview

The impetus for this body of work is Rishi Sunak's five point plan to tackle illegal immigration. The unelected, party selected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has spoken for the electorate. He says he is going to tackle illegal immigration with a five point plan. Lets see how that works, it might win him a few votes when the electorate are finally given a voice. Here are a couple of news paper reports on his plan - Reuters https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uk-pm-sunak-announces-new-deal-speed-up-removal-albanian-migrants-2022-12-13/ and the https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64166469.  The thing to remember is that anti immigration policy dressed up in Royal Silks will always  strike at the hearts of the electorate.  In our upcoming features we will look at the policies in place to tackle illegal immigration including the hostile enviroment features brought in by Theresa may  another unelected, selected leader of the the Great  British Kingdom. It is my view that understanding takes a lot more than people standing at Pedestals with mics in their faces making ineffectual policy and then re-making a different version of the first.  Peoples circumstances need to be investigated individually, the govenment knows that one size does not fit all. Some people need to go home, others simply cannot. The matter will be investigated closely on Immigration Radio UK with the intention of demystifying the policy behind vocalisation of hypothetical solutions to an age old problem within the higher eschelons of our society. I am excited to hear what is coming. That's all for now folks!

Todays question was about domestic violence to partners of skilled workers. Sorry to say the Domestic Violence rule does not cover skilled workers. The rational probably is that the skilled work visa is a temporary visa allowing residence in exchange for work. The partner of permanent residents route is much different there is permanence in the equations and this allows for relief in situations where there is domestic abuse. My answer is regrettably, if you leave your marriage as a skilled worker for a domestic abuse reason, then unless you have an alternative reason to apply to remain in the UK - you should consider leaving to resume your life in the last country you lived in or otherwise your country of origin.

This is not as tricky as it sounds, what you need know first of all is whether you meet the financial requirement with demonstrable earning of £29.000 in the year of the application. Therefore if you have had more than one job, it can be the cumulative amount that count towards the relevant figure. The UKVI require evidence of the work you are undertaking such as contracts, pay remits, bank statements and other documents that show you are in genuine employment. It is open to them to make checks to verify information you choose to submit.
